- Oncidium sphacelatum, aka Dancing Lady Orchid. We inherited three of these from a friend. They’re covered with hundreds of little yellow flowers for a couple weeks each spring.
- There’s an increase in stingray injuries this year, so here’s a reminder to do the Stingray Shuffle at the beach.
- Our car was completely covered with love bugs after driving across the state. It’s a myth that the University of Florida is responsible for them (besides, they would be orange and blue, not black and red).

- These Keitts won’t ripen until August, but I’m dreaming of all the ways to use them. I’m not sure if this is a fruit salad or a cocktail, but I can’t wait to try it: strawberry mango mint julep.
